Literacy
\nThis week, we have been working hard practising our spelling words. We have been playing spelling games with our friends to develop our skills when sounding out words.<\/p>\n

In writing this week, we started learning about narrative writing. We use a story mountain to help us plan our story. We had to use our imagination to create a text to entertain the reader. We were writing a story where we went through the wardrobe and we went into a different land.<\/p>\n

Numeracy
\nThis week, we have been focusing on missing number addition equation. This is an addition equation where we have the answer and one of the digits we are adding and the second digit is missing. We could use the count on strategy or the take away strategy.<\/p>\n

\nWe have been learning about Christian beliefs this week. We have learnt that Christians believe in one God and they pray to God to give thanks, to give them guidance or for forgiveness. We also were learning that Christians believe that God created the universe in 6 days and on the 7th day God had a rest.
