Silent Disco<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We had a great time during our silent disco.<\/p>\n

Christmas Lunch<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Emily – It was cool.<\/p>\n

We got to wear our Christmas jumpers.<\/p>\n

Miss Stanway – The macaroni cheese was delicious.<\/p>\n

We have also been working hard too!<\/p>\n

STEM Challenges<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

All week we have been completing STEM activities.<\/p>\n

K-I liked building an igloo with marshmallows and cocktail sticks.<\/p>\n

Art\/Craft<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We made a Christmas card based on a picture of the Grinch.<\/p>\n

Debbie – I liked using the pastels.<\/p>\n

Emily – I gave mine to someone in P7 and she said it was really cool.<\/p>\n

Hope – Making the Christmas cards was fun.<\/p>\n

RME<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

After watching the younger children perform their nativity (which was a recording) we chose to either draw a picture of the nativity scene or research Christmas traditions from around the world.<\/p>\n

Bailey – I enjoyed the drawing.<\/p>\n

Health<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Debbie – I liked researching about Paralympians<\/p>\n

Cameron – My Paralympian has 37 medals altogether. They are a swimmer.<\/p>\n

Hope – We learnt they are proud, hard-working and resilient.<\/p>\n

Emily – We researched Sam Kinghorn who was paralyzed at the age of 14 in an accident. She is a racer.<\/p>\n

Rugby<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hope – We practised passing and this week learnt that you had to pass to the side or backwards.<\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We have continued to read our group novels and practised our reciprocal reading strategies.<\/p>\n
