We have been learning how to summarise.<\/p>\n

Hope – Only pick out key points.<\/p>\n

Debbie – Write in your own words and put events in order.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hope – I enjoyed planning the persuasive writing. You need to include facts.<\/p>\n

Lily-Elen – You need to use persuasive language.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We have been adding numbers which bridge ten or a hundred using mental methods.<\/p>\n

Amy – We can use partitioning.<\/p>\n

Joel – We can count on.<\/p>\n

Emily – When adding several numbers we look for ways to make it easier such as making number bonds to 10.<\/p>\n

PE<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Kyle – I liked playing football outside this week .<\/p>\n

Bailey – My team won!<\/p>\n

Topic – WW2<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This week we organised events on a timeline.<\/p>\n

Bailey – I didn’t know Hitler went to jail. He wrote a book called ‘My Struggle.'(Mein Kampf).<\/p>\n

Lily-Elen – My Grandad told me they had to put guards outside his prison cell.<\/p>\n

Bella – Germany invaded Poland.<\/p>\n
