Good morning everybody and welcome to a new week and a new month! I am in school again so please be patient when waiting for a response. I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Here is our plan for the day: Daily Plan – Mon 1st March 2021<\/a><\/p>\n Let\u2019s start our day with the Joe Wicks session – https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/results?search_query=pe+with+joe<\/a><\/p>\n I have put another 1 or 2 new books in your Reading Group Booklists: https:\/\/online.raintree.co.uk\/login\/index.html<\/a>. Some books are longer so will take the groups longer to read, some groups don’t have a new book as their text was longer.<\/p>\n There will be a live check in around 9:30 with me on Teams.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Numeracy<\/u><\/p>\n L\/I To multiply numbers.<\/p>\n S\/C<\/p>\n T \u2013 I can multiply numbers by 2 and 10<\/p>\n S&C- I can multiply numbers by 3 and 4<\/p>\n Task<\/u><\/strong>: This week we are continuing our topic of multiplication. \u00a0In Class Materials- Mrs Hillan in the files section you will find your Multiplication activities. There are 2 activities for each group. The video is in the Class Materials- Mrs Hillan folder, but here is the youtube link also in case you have problems accessing it: https:\/\/youtu.be\/Z4KquT3i_FY<\/a><\/p>\n Task:<\/u><\/p>\n L\/I To make a prediction<\/p>\n S\/C I can use my knowledge of what I have heard to predict what will happen next in our class novel.<\/p>\n Task: Predict what will happen next in our story based on the last chapter \u2013 write about your prediction firstly and then show this in a detailed drawing. You can use the Predictor sheet in \u2018Class Materials \u2013 Mrs Hillan\u2019 folder<\/u> or just draw and write about it on a piece of paper\/jotter. Remember to make this detailed and connected to the part we have just read. Once you have completed this, please put it into your folder in the Files Section.<\/p>\n Your second task, which may carry on into the afternoon is to create a Wanted Poster for a book character of your choice. They can be from any story. This is because this week we will celebrate World Book Day on Thursday. You will be asked to include some information on the character to make them easier to find. There is a sheet in our folder you can use or just do it on a piece of paper, then add it to your folder.<\/p>\n We will catch up at 12:15 to see how we are all getting on.<\/p>\n Predictor Role – Reading – Mon 1st March Final<\/a><\/p>\n Wanted Poster – Character description – Mon 1st March<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1:30:<\/u><\/p>\n Good afternoon everyone, hope you all enjoyed your lunch! I will post this afternoon\u2019s activities below \u2013 Spelling, Wellbeing task and you could also read a story to someone at home for World Book Day.<\/p>\n I will check in with you all around 2:15 <\/u>and have a live meet up at 2:45<\/u><\/strong> for another fun Quiz!<\/p>\n Spelling<\/u><\/p>\n Your new spelling words for the week are in the \u2018Class Materials \u2013 Mrs Hillan\u2019 <\/u>folder \u2013 remember to look at your group\u2019s words! Once you have looked over your words and practised these using \u2018Look, Cover, Write, Check\u2019, write out your words in interesting sentences \u2013 try to make these as interesting as you can!
