Hope you are all well.<\/p>\n<p>Today you can find your work for Mrs Dobbie in her folder in class materials. Mrs Dobbie is working in school today so might not be able to have a check in. Keep an eye on the Teams chat to find out.<\/p>\n<p>I will meet with you in a check in at 11.00 and again after lunch at 1.30 for a live catch up (no dictation this week). All your work for the day from me is in the Class Materials folder dated Thursday 18.2.21. We are covering RME \/French with Mrs Dobbie, maths digital time, a reading task from a non &#8211; fiction book and a poem for enjoyment.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget it is good to have regular brain breaks and to get some fresh air.<\/p>\n<p>I have written down times to try and help with organisation but feel free to move things around or do them later if that\u2019s easier.<\/p>\n<p>8.55 Mrs Dobbie\u2019s activities<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">BREAK 10.30 \u2013 10.45<\/span><\/p>\n<p>11.00 live check in with Mrs Lockhart and overview of the day<\/p>\n<p>11.20 <u>Maths Task &#8211; Time <\/u><\/p>\n<p>There is a lot of work today on digital times. It is a self- correcting activity. Please do the task first before you look at the answers and correct any errors. Then fold once (in half) and then once again to make a quarter. Colour the quarter. Can you see the why it\u2019s called quarter past and quarter to in time work?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Remember to continue playing the time game to demonstrate your knowledge. You have the same two books as last week to choose from <u>All About Teeth<\/u> or <u>Animal Migration<\/u>. Animal Migration is a little trickier so choose that one if you\u2019re a confident reader. The follow up task is different for each book.<\/p>\n<p>Like last time you will find the books online by following this link <a href=\"https:\/\/online.raintree.co.uk\/login\/index.html\">https:\/\/online.raintree.co.uk\/login\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now follow these steps\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Username:DEAEH5<\/li>\n<li>Password: pupil<\/li>\n<li>Type All About Teeth or Animal Migration into the search bar at the top of the page<\/li>\n<li>Then press the big green button READ BOOK<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Remember you can use the audio button to listen to the book being read until you are confident enough to read it by yourself.<\/p>\n<p><u>All About Teeth<\/u> \u2013 Make a fact file with 3 of your favourite facts and at least one illustration.<\/p>\n<p><u>Animal Migration<\/u> \u2013 Find information on Artic Terns in the book and summarise the facts.
