There’s been some spooky goings on in P4\/3 this week as we have had fun celebrating Halloween!! The children have been creative and designed their own Halloween characters using a range of materials. They will be sent home with your child today.<\/p>\n

In Literacy, we have been learning about\u00a0 Persuasive genre of writing. This involves writing\u00a0 a one sided argument to try to persuade the reader.<\/p>\n

The purple group had some persuasive ideas about\u00a0 Halloween.
\n” I think Halloween is fun because\u00a0 \u2026..
\nI get to carve pumpkins. (Ashley)
\nyou get to scare people. (Tadas)
\nyou get to dress up in a costume. \u00a0(Lennon)
\nI like dressing as a black cat. \u00a0(Nathan)
\nI like to wear my buzz lightyear costume. \u00a0(Nathaniel)

All the children made a good attempt at this and we look forward to developing our skills in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
