Our Primary 3 clans took part in a writing competition organised by housebuilder Robertson Homes. The pupils were asked to write letters to older people who may be feeling lonely this Christmas. The winner of the competition would then have their writing chosen to feature in Age Scotland’s Friendship Service Christmas cards.<\/p>\n

We are delighted to announce that a Primary 3 pupil from Calderwood Primary School was selected for his design to feature on the card. He showed compassion, laughter and joy through his letter. We know it will spread Christmas cheer to those who need it this year. Well done!<\/p>\n
