It also allows them to access their documents at home and school.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Word<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft One Note<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Powerpoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Downloading Microsoft Apps and Logging in for the First Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The instructions on the link below will show you how to log into the apps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1658 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/glowconnect.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/office365home.jpg?resize=175%2C162&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"162\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To download Microsoft Office 2016 from the Glow Application Library, search for the \u2018Office 365\u2019 tile, shown here. It can be found on the National (Scotland)\u00a0Launch Pad or you can add it to your own Launch Pad. Further help on the App Library is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/glowconnect.org.uk\/help-with-glow\/glow-launchpad\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To download the software to a PC or Mac, click on the Office 365 tile and follow the instructions. More information from Microsoft is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.com\/en-gb\/article\/Download-and-install-or-reinstall-Office-365-or-Office-2016-on-a-PC-or-Mac-4414eaaf-0478-48be-9c42-23adc4716658?ui=en-US&amp;rs=en-GB&amp;ad=GB\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are downloading to an iPad or iPhone, you will need to download the apps from the App Store then log in using your Glow username. More information from Microsoft is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.microsoft.com\/en-us\/article\/Set-up-a-mobile-device-7dabb6cb-0046-40b6-81fe-767e0b1f014f\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is also possible to download the apps from within Microsoft O365. To do so, click on the Office 365 link in the top left of your screen. This will\u00a0take you to the O365 home page. Click on \u2018Install Office 2016\u2019 and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entering your username<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When logging in, you will be asked to enter your username \u2013 this is your Glow username plus the domain e.g.\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:gw15examplejames@glow.sch.uk\">gw15examplejames@glow.sch.uk<\/a>. You will then be transferred to the Glow login screen.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have entered your login details here, your registration will be complete.
