Although new road markings have been put in place to improve safety, the yellow zig-zag lines are still being used as parking spots by some drivers. These markings are there for a very important reason \u2013 they help keep entrances clear, improve visibility, and reduce the risk of accidents for our children and families as they arrive at and leave school.<\/p>\n
A Message from Our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs)<\/h3>\n
Our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) have been thinking carefully about how we can work together as a community to make our school environment safer for everyone. They have created posters and letters to kindly remind adults about the importance of parking responsibly and putting children\u2019s safety first.<\/p>\n
The JRSOs are asking for the help and cooperation of all adults in the community around our school<\/strong>. They understand that school pick-up and drop-off times can be busy, but small changes in behaviour can make a big difference to everyone\u2019s safety.<\/p>\n By working together, we can ensure that all children feel safe travelling to and from school and that our school surroundings remain welcoming and safe for everyone.<\/p>\n Thank you for taking the time to read this and for continuing to support our school community.
