Yesterday we had an unannounced inspection in our nursery from the Care Inspectorate.
We are very proud to announce that we received all ‘VERY GOODS’ on the themes inspected.
There will be further information to follow.
Congratulations and a huge thank you to all our fantastic staff for their hard work and professionalism.
Thank you to our parents for all their continued support in engaging in their child’s learning.
Last but not least, thank you to our nursery children who are complete stars and were praised highly by the inspector.
On Thursday afternoon, Primary One got together for a make and create afternoon. We started with learning about some woodland animals and their habitats. We then went to the GP room which was magically set-up with all sorts of pictures and making materials for the children. Pupils were encouraged to work together to make animals for our woodland topic wall.
Pupils used pastels, cotton wool, crepe paper, tissue paper and cut up packaging for the hedgehogs’ prickles! It was such a great afternoon. Everyone co-operated and worked well together.
Here is some evidence of the afternoon. Have a lovely weekend.
