P3 Probability

We investigated probability in Maths. Probability is the chance that something will or won’t happen. We thought that because there were 6 faces on a dice, if we rolled it 6 times each face should be rolled once (1/6 chance). However, this was not the case!! We all had different results, usually with one number being rolled most times. We thought about why this happened and came up with some things to think about, such as the starting position of the dice, the force we used to roll it, the surface it landed on and whether the edges were curved or straight. It was great fun!
