{"id":7356,"date":"2021-06-24T14:38:35","date_gmt":"2021-06-24T13:38:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/beatlieblog\/?p=7356"},"modified":"2021-06-24T14:38:35","modified_gmt":"2021-06-24T13:38:35","slug":"summer-term-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/beatlieblog\/2021\/06\/24\/summer-term-music\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer term Music"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">After several months of delivering music lessons live\u00a0and online\u00a0via Teams\u00a0and YouTube, it was good to swap the living room for the classroom again this term.\u00a0While the children were mostly engaged\u00a0during lessons shown on\u00a0the\u00a0smartboard,\u00a0there\u00a0was a\u00a0pleasing positive\u00a0response\u00a0to\u00a0us\u00a0being\u00a0back\u00a0in the same classroom again. The music and activities are more immediate and\u00a0alive and there is more scope to\u00a0adapt\u00a0activities, depending on\u00a0responses and interests.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:1,&quot;335551620&quot;:1,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This term we began by consolidating some of the songs and action activities\u00a0from before\u00a0that had become familiar over the smartboard.
