In Lomond class we have been learning harvest in our farming topic. We decided to make up harvest packages as an enterprise project and take them to a sheltered housing campus. This is us at Craigengar Park sheltered housing. The children loved giving out the packages and using switches to communicate with the residents.
At the end of November, Beatlie held a very successful enterprise fair. All classes had worked really hard to contribute to the event and raise money for their own class funds.
There was a cafe for refreshments and a raffle too.
All stalls had agreed to contribute a percentage of their profits to a charity which was to be announced on the
day. Parents had nominated favourite charities and the lucky one drawn from the hat (well, bucket actually) was Signpost. This proved to be a VERY popular result and indeed Signpost had had more nominations that any other charity.
