Dyslexia Scotland West Lothian March Open Meeting

The West Lothian Branch of Dyslexia Scotland is a local volunteer led group, which offers information and support to adults and children with dyslexia and to their families, teachers, and other professionals.  The Branch is holding an Open Meeting on Wednesday 20 March 2013, between 7pm and 9pm at West Lothian College, Livingston.  A copy of their flyer is available by clicking here.

This guest speaker is Sandra O’Neill, a Specialist Teacher from CALL (Communication, Access, Literacy and Learning) Scotland.  CALL Scotland is based within Moray House School of Education at the University of Edinburgh.  As well as carrying out research, CALL Scotland provides information and advice on technological aids and software and offers training and CPD for teachers and other professionals.  Sandra will be talking about the work carried out by CALL Scotland, with particular emphasis on digital exams and how they can assist dyslexic students.  (See www.callscotland.org.uk for more information.)
