use number bonds from 1 to 10 and 1 to 100. We have been learning to write a Thank You letter to someone for a Christmas present. In PE we have been playing football maths and traffic light tig. In spelling we are learning about words that start with ‘j’ and words with ‘a’ in them.

Meischa is going to try to stop playing her psp so much and instead go outside and enjoy nature.

Leo is going to start tidying his room more often.
Lil is going to start eating fruit.
Mrs BP is going to try to eat less chocolate, and eat more fruit and vegetables instead.

Well done to the Greyfriar’s Bobby table who won table of the week this week. Their prize was a box of crackers, which had a reindeer game, hats, jokes and small toys inside. Merry Christmas from Mrs BP!

P3 have been busy making presents for people this week. You might find a lovely glass pendant, tea light with a decorated holder or a colourful 2012 calendar under your tree. P3 have also worked well as a team to make a paper chain to decorate the classroom.

Saul and his family visited Lapland at the weekend. They had a fun time sleighing with the huskies and meeting the real Santa. Saul was pleased to find out he is on the NICE list. Thank you for the postcard!

One of our P3 children had a fun time learning to ride a horse on holiday in Arizona this year. Well done!

The P3 children from Mrs Earnshaw’s class and Mrs Bennett-Palmer’s class enjoyed watching Alvin and the Chipmunks today as a christmas treat. The children made popcorn pokes for snack time and enjoyed treats from school and from generous parents/carers.

Thank you to Declan for telling us all about the new Pandas from China who are now at Edinburgh Zoo. Did you know, pandas can live for up to 30 years?!
