Due to the church being closed due to heating problems, our annual Christmas Service will be held in St. John’s Hall at 11 am on Friday 18th December. Everyone is welcome to come and join in with our Christmas celebrations.
The children in P1 and 2 have been really busy practising their nativity. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday and Wednesday.
With no doubt, the children have probably told you all about our visit to the pantomime in Stirling yesterday. It was an enjoyable show but made even more so by a starring performance from our own Mr Turnbull!!
He was invited up on stage by the show’s Dame and even ‘enjoyed’ a HUGE kiss!!!! Well done Mr Turnbull!
The Christmas holidays are upon us and it has been the busiest but most enjoyable week in school for both staff and pupils for a while. The children performed wonderfully on Monday and Tuesday in our school concert and I hope you enjoyed them as much as the children enjoyed performing them. I am sure you will agree when I say we have a few budding stars in our midst, evident from our youngest to our eldest children. I wish I had their confidence at that age and perhaps been given the opportunity to be involved in such wonderful ventures. I would like to extend a huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends who came along to both concert performances and to the Church to support the children.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family and wish all good luck for the New Year.
Mary McKenzie
