A scrumptious brunch was enjoyed by all Friday 8th February whilst making us aware of those less fortunate than us.
The Pupil Council organised tasty foods for us to buy as well as running free activities on the day. These activities included located where foods come from on a world map, making ‘Day for Change’ pin badges and identifying seasonal fruit and vegetables.
The money raised has been sent off to UNICEF to support other children in the world who right to enough food is not being met.
Congratulations to the P7 group who successfully organised the T-Factor Red Nose Day Special. The standard of the finalists was extremely high and we could tell they had all put a t of effort into their performances.
It was a tough job for the judges but they decided to award joint 1st place to Michael in P7 for his juggling and Kirsty in P1 for singing ‘Tomorrow’ from the musical ‘Annie’. 2nd went to Sam in P3 for his magic trick.
The lucky winner of the hamper was Aimee in P5 and from the picture I think you can tell she was very pleased with her win!
The money is still coming in but so far the total raised stands at £142!!!
