At the end when we had all finished our pizzas(teachers too!) we had a question and answer session with the manager related to our Dragon’s Den topic.
 The pizzas taste amazing!!
Coming live from Frankie & Benny’s in Livingston, our P6 & 7 are currently inventing their own cocktails and pizzas as part of their Dragon’s Den topic.
What an amazing afternoon P4/5 had when they visited the new Sky Academy Studios. In the high tech surroundings of the new facility, they wrote scripts, created auto cues, chose costumes, selected backdrops, filmed, presented and edited their news report. An additional treat was a tour of the call centre where they had a feel for what it would be like to work for Sky. Each pupil came home with a certificate, lanyard and memory stick bracelet that had their news report saved on it! They are now looking forward to sharing their experience with others at their assembly in a couple of weeks.
As well as finding out all about the equipment needed when out rescuing wild animals, P4/5 were shocked to hear that more than 64000 wild animals die each year due to being trapped in litter. Luckily, we have a tidy playground and we know not to ever throw litter away.
Today pupils enjoyed a visit from the SSPCA. Â They learned about different types of equipment used when helping animals and also what to do if they saw an animal being mistreated.
