This year we decided to have a P1 House Captain, which was voted on by the pupils in P1/2. The results are:

Today P3/4/5 were visited by Mrs. Fresson. She is an electrical engineer with a company called Optos who build machines to examine our eyes. We recently made eye balls in class as part of our Burke and Hare topic. Her visit allowed us to study the eye in more detail and find out exactly what Mrs. Fresson does. We’re all hoping to see a photo of Murray’s eye soon!
P3,4,5 tested their tastebuds today in a fun science experiment. The challenge was to see if certain foods could be tasted better when dotted on to different areas of their tongue. They tried salt, cocoa, lemon juice and honey. Do you know where your tastebuds are?
