What we have learned this week in P6/7
This week we got a visit from the SSPCA . Where we built robotic cats which links to our topic artificial intelligence. In maths we are looking at negative numbers and multiples and factors. In reading we have started doing literacy circles where we choose a book and sit in a circle and ask questions and discuss what we have read. As part of our topic we were set a task to choose a invention from the industrial revolution to research. we used different skills such as, picking out key information, presentation skills, listening skills and the art skills of colour, shape and line. 😉
P6/7-What We Have Been Learning This Week
Writing
In writing we have been writing horror stories with Mrs. Sneddon like: Bettie And Timothy, The Tank and The Strike Of Lightning (By Adam, Alfred and Holly).
Spelling
In spelling we have been creating christmas word searches and crosswords.
Mathematics
In mathematics we are learning about exchange rates and coordinates.
Today ( 18.12.18)
We did the church Christmas service and Alfred Muir did a lesson of his own about reaction times.
