A big congratulations to Douglas in P6 for his part in helping his pipe band place third in the competition they were taking part in all the way over in Ireland at the weekend! Another great achievement!

What We Have Been Learning in P6/7
This fortnight we have been doing experiments to do with rusting, how far a egg can fall and burning tea lights. In maths we have been learning what a parallelogram and a polygon is. We have also been dividing and multiplying decimals.
P7 Have also been out to a Rugby tournament as part of their transition.

Ski Success
Congratulations to Martin, Marcus and Theo who came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd at their most recent Ski competition.
The team dual slalom on Friday was also pretty close with Torphichen A winning all of their races and so finishing with 27 points whilst Low Port took silver with 25 points and Torphichen B bronze with 23 points.
