Primary 1/2 had an Outdoor Ranger visit from Beecraigs for an action packed afternoon. To begin the afternoon, pupils hid acorns and at the end of the day, tried to find them just like squirrels searching for food in the Winter. We made a Nature Palette, bird feeders and used clay to make Tree Faces.

Our New Library
Primary 1/2 pupils are now able to enjoy books from our school library. Pupils choose from a range of books and can relax as they choose and share their choices.

Woodland Setting
Pupils added ‘mud’ to their woodland setting to match with the story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. They mixed glue, paints, flour and water. When pupils mixed the ingredients too smooth, they engaged in problem solving, working out how to keep th lumps in.
