On Friday, we welcomed Susan (Euan’s Mum!) into school to talk to the children about Bladder Health. She shared with the children the importance of looking after their bladder just as much as other parts of their bodies.
It certainly gave all the pupils, and staff, something to think about.
What a great turn out for the Children In Need Onesie/PJ morning. We raised £89.80 so thank you to everyone who took part. The money raised will stay in Scotland and go towards helping young people such as those on the link below:
Well done to Merryn in Primary 4 who took part in the Scottish Disability Sports junior national swimming championship finals on 8 November 2017 at Grangemouth Sports Complex.
She swam in three events representing Torphichen Primary School for Lothian region. She achieved Gold in 25 m backstroke, gold 25m breaststroke and was pipped in the 25m freestyle and gained silver. She also achieved three personal best times.
The Pupil Council and Pupil Leadership have decided to hold a Onesie/PJs morning on Friday 17th November, to raise money for Children in Need.
If your child would like to take part, please send £1 per child on Friday 17th November. Please keep in mind the weather and put tshirts/shorts underneath onesies/pj’s.
If your child does not wish to take part, please send them to school in their school uniform.
