As part of our new topic (Scotland) we  have been learning about folk music. we have been drawing mind-scapes

to the tune Highland Cathedral.

As part of our flight topic in class P4/5 launched a weather balloon and recorded its journey. Here is a link to what came back.

We are launching a weather balloon either on Wednesday  Thursday  or Friday this week if it is not windy.  It is going to the edge of space. It has a GPS and a camera so it will video the whole thing and it might be 4 hours long so we will not be able to watch it all, so we will have to edit it down.

P4/5 will be going for a visit to the Museum of Flight as part of their current topic on Flight. We will be jetting off on Wednesday the 12th October for the whole day.

In P4/5 we made some payloads to test how parachutes would work and to test what materials would work the best.
