We have been learning about the Latin/Roman Alphabet.We found out that it was very similar to the English Alphabet.We have been making roman fact files. We are focusing on keeping our writing clear, having an interesting layout and making sure it is appropriate for our audience.

Our 1st new topic of 2017 is…the Romans. So far we have made a K.W.L grid and made notes under headings to tell us what we are going to learn.

We Were learning about the Ning Nang Nong in writing.  We investigated the rhyming words and the alliteration in the poem.   We wrote our own version of the Ning Nang Nong.

We were leaning the Haka because its a traditional New Zealand folk dance.

We are learning the Haka as part of our topic on Folk Music.
