We have been learning about the Romans. We have made Roman Armour and also Mind Maps when we were watching Horrible Histories about the Romans and how they ate their dinner and what they wore and their Battle equipment.

Where’s Wally?
It is the 30 year anniversary of the first Where’s Wally book. As part of World Book Day on Thursday the pupil council has organised a Where’s Wally school hunt.
Cut outs of Wally will be hiding around the playground in the morning, at break and at lunch on Thursday. If you find him you could get a prize!
The pupil council will be coming round the classes today to explain the rules and times of the hunt!
Animation Club
I’m afraid the after school Animation club will not be on this week, but will resume next Wednesday instead.

A day in the life of a Roman
We have been writing a diary entry and learnt in a diary you can’t say “I DIED”.
We were trying to use dialogue and interesting vocabulary.
Roman topic
We have been learning about Roman art and mosaics. We have been making our own mosaics on paper. As part of our topic we got into partners and made a Roman timeline of all the events in the Roman period.
