In the past few days we have acquired a few helpers around the school, in our classroom we have Jem. Who will help us help us to get ready for going into secondary school as part of HWB. We have been making christmas cards using pens and pencils for parents or carers to order.
We have been learning decimals and fractions, we have also been building a model of a Morrison Shelter. We have also done some french. The alphabet, the days of the week and the months of the year. We also learned French numbers, which helped with saying the dates. We also went over how to say our names in French.
This week we built catapults to try and recreate the bouncing bomb/dam buster in WW2. we walked up to Loch Cote and tried to fire marbles across the water. It did not work out how we wanted to, partly because of the wind was to strong and because the elastic was to thin. We are going to see if we can make adjustments to our design to improve it.
