Well done to the P3/4 pupils who took part in our Scots Poetry session. Thank you for being a fabulous audience and well done to the participants too. You all did well, despite being given a surprise new date for the recital. From Miss Ramos.

NYCOS visit to P3/4
A member of The National Youth Choir of Scotland came to visit P3/4 and taught us some fun ways to learn music, song and dance. There are three NYCOS after school classes in the area. The classes are priority based for P3 pupils. A letter has been sent home with further information.
Christmas presents are on their way!
A huge thank you to everyone who donated a Christmas Shoebox for this year’s Blythswood Appeal. We have sent 34 boxes filled with goodies for boys, girls, teenagers, men and women across Europe. Christmas is a time for giving and the community of Torphichen Primary School has shown, yet again, their extreme generosity.
Thank you from The Global Group.

Due to the request to extend the cut off date for shoebox donations, gifted boxes can now be handed into school by Tuesday 29th November. If you require a new Blythswood leaflet, your child can collect one from Miss Ramos.
