P6/7 were shelter building today using natural materials found in the playground. As we have been studying Andy Goldsworthy, this afternoon was also spent painting with mud.

The Primary 7 Sponsored Challenge
Today, our P7s completed their Sponsored Challenge with great success! They walked 2 miles around Beecraigs Park and then had to climb the spider’s web with a cup of water in their mouth. The aim was to reach the ground again with NO spillages.
When the pupils returned to school, all of the other classes were waiting in the playground for Part Two… The Ice Bucket Challenge.
Well done P7. Once again, you were a huge success.

P7’s Risky Business
Today, our P7s went on a fantastic trip to The Risk Factory in Edinburgh. They were faced with a number of risky scenarios in life like settings. They had to make decisions on how to recognise dangers and how to keep themselves safe. Unfortunately, we cannot post any photos as we are not allowed to show any other pupils at school what it was like. P6 – you’ll have to wait until this time next year and you’ll get to see for yourselves.
Last Day at Lendrick Muir
Yet again, we had another fun filled, sunny day. The weather has thankfully been kind to us after last year’s ‘challenging’ weather.
Today, we had teams building shelters, paddling on rafts, trail biking, jumping on inflatables and chasing one another in a survival game. To finish off our jam packed week, we danced our socks off to our Cheesy Disco. We have some seriously groovy dancers in our group!
Here are some photos from today. We expect to be home for 11.45am. See you tomorrow.
