Pongy Piranha Present
Today a piranha fish visited P1/2 from Oskar’s Gran. We learned that piranhas are much smaller than we thought, they have a strong smell and the teeth are very sharp and small. Pupils thought the piranha was ugly but very interesting.
Vertebrates Visit P1/2
Pupils examined mackerel and discovered that these fish feel squidgy, cold and smooth. They also found out that the mackerel have little spikes for teeth.
P1/2 Showcase
A big Thank You to everyone who came to the Primary 1/2 Showcase. Pupils have worked hard this term and have learned a great deal about water safety and sea creatures as well as learning across the curriculum.
Ducks Visit to Primary 1 2
We were very fortunate to have live ducks in class as part of our Water Creatures Topic. We learned so much including that ducks quack very loudly when they are afraid. We also learned ducks cannot be toilet trained. A big THANK YOU to Mrs Brodie, Amiee from Primary 7 and Mrs Main-Reade.
