Did you know that Vikings made paint from onion skin? Primary 1/2 made their own Viking onion paint and used it to colour the beads they made.

Primary 1/2 are learning about measuring and used paper clips and Lego bricks to measure the length of our shoes. We compared the length and most pupils had shoes measuring 8 paper clips.

Pupils have been learning to tell the time and made clocks to show 1/2 past the hour, 1/4 to and 1/4 past the hour. Primary 2 pupils have also been learning how to count minutes past the hour.

Primary 1/2 pupils took part in a playground visit looking for safety issues. With the new build in mind, pupils found and read safety signs as well as discussing how to stay safe. All pupils completed an illustration and writing on this very important subject.
