Today pupils added Swishy, swashy grass and splash, splosh water to their woodland setting. Pupils were practicing their fine manipulative skills, building finger muscles when using scissors and scrunching and tearing paper.
Storytelling with Art and Design
Over the next few weeks, Primary 1 and 2 will be making a woodland setting using different techniques. Today they were selecting different colours and thicknesses of paper before ripping paper into long and short lengths to make trees for the forest. Look out for more additions to the woodland settings over the next few weeks. We will also be adding characters to re-tell stories pupils have been enjoying.
