  1. Guy Fawkes was in charge of looking after the gunpowder. If he hadn’t have been caught he would have been the person that lit it.

Guy Fawkes was hung drawn and quartered for trying to blow up the house of parliament he was going to be hung but before they could hang him he pulled on the rope around his neck and killed him self.His dead body was attached to a horse drawn carriage and pulled around his village to signal that he had done something wrong .Guy Fawkes es dead body was cut up before being tossed on a bonfire we now celebrate the 5th of November.

  5. the only place in the uk who does not celebrate bonfire night is St Peter’s primary school where Guy Fox went. they don’t celebrate it to show respect to there former pupil

  6. Fireworks are not fun for animals. Always keep dogs and cats inside the house when fireworks are being let off. Stay calm and make sure they have somewhere to hide.

  7. The reason we do Bonfire Night is because It’s the anniversary of an attempt to blow up the House of Parliament by a man called Guy Fawkes.

  8. Guy Fawkes, whose real name was Guido, planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament on the 5th of November 1605 but his was plan was discovered. He wanted to blow it up to assassinate King James 1.They wanted to restore Protestant England to Catholicism and end persecution of their faith.
