Aerial Photography at Cairnpapple

P3/4/5 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Cairnapple yesterday. They were learning all about the phases of Cairnpapple, thanks to a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic archeologist called Katie. They also flew a kite with a camera attached, in order to capture images of Cairnpapple from above. The results are amazing! Thanks too to Mrs Martin-Law who helped pupils draw the amazing landscape that surrounds the site.

  1. Wow, these photos are fantastic and you were so lucky with the weather! I need to find out from Silvana how the camera was attached so we can perhaps try this out at home.
