P3/4 have been learning about length over the last few weeks.  Children have been completing lots of practical activities to help with understanding.  We are going to be learning about weight this week.

Finn – ‘We got to measure how far a toy car could go and we were using metre sticks to measure length’

Martin – ‘It was great to measure things and we were getting some of our estimates close but sometimes we were 5cm away’

Cameron – ‘I have enjoyed length.  I liked when P3 measured their shoe and made a poster to show our learning’

Isaac – ‘I enjoyed learning about measurement and measuring our class because it was challenging’

Charlie – ‘I have learned that 149cm is 1m and 49cm and I can convert units of measure’
