P6 Maths and Numeracy Learning
In Maths and Numeracy we have been learning about the following:
Acute
– We are learning about the value of a digit before the decimal point
– The place value of digits up to seven numbers.
– Being able to read, write and say larger numbers.
Obtuse
– We have been learning about measurements and decimals.
-We have been measuring with cm,mm and metres
Right
-On Fridays we have been working on reading scales for measurement.
-We have been learning about measuring in decimals.
-We have been working on rounding numbers to one decimal place and two decimal places.
P5/6 End of Term Reflections
“I enjoyed creating my project about dangerous animals. I never realised that humans were in the top 10 dangerous mammals.’ Elliot.
I enjoyed creating animal prints because we had the choice of doing 2 different kinds of prints. We were learning to make our art work look like skin or fur by adding texture.’ Sophie

Church Service
Just a reminder that our Harvest service starts at 9.15am, over in the church. Everyone is welcome.
If there are any last minutes donations for our harvest gifts, please hand into the office in the morning.
Teddies and Toys
Pupils have been learning about toys Then and Now. We completed Venn diagrams to show which toys were played with then and now. Pupils also made Peg Dolls just as children would have done in Victorian times.
