Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair arrives on Thursday 23rd March in school and will be available until Wednesday 29th March including the the evening of parent’s consultations.

The Rights Respecting School Committee group working with Mrs Telfer have made it their ‘quest’ to build our library and book selection.  They have set a target of £600.  If we sell £600 worth of books we get 50% of the total sales back to spend on books for our school. For every 2 books we sell we will get one free!

The RRS group have also come up with a reading quest competition. Each child in the school has been given a challenge to read as many books as they can between Wednesday 15th and Monday 27th March. To keep track of this they have been issued with reading quest booklets.

On each page children should complete an a short review for every book they have read. Then have it signed by an adult in or out of school and return the completed book to school by 27th March. There will be a £5 book token up for grabs for each class PLUS the opportunity to win a further £5 token for the overall winner.

Your support with this project would be much appreciated. If you would like more information please access this link: https://bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/
