We have been learning about Roman art and mosaics. We have been making our own mosaics on paper. As part of our topic we got into partners and made a Roman timeline of all the events in the Roman period.

Mr Kao Visits P3/4
P3/4 would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Mr Kao who brought his telescope into school today. We loved your fascinating powerpoint and we enjoyed asking you questions about our solar system. You have really inspired us to find out lots more about how The Egyptians used astronomy to understand time and the yearly calendar.
P6/7 Health and Wellbeing
Primary 6/7 have started some gymnastics in our PE slots. Â We have been looking at balance. Â We have practiced our own balance positions and also balances of 2. Â Some groups have also worked balances of 3.
Musical Extravaganza Comes to Primary 1/2
Dave Trouton, musician and music specialist visited Primary 1/2 for a full day of fun! Pupils learned how sound is made through sound waves and how we hear. They learned about the effect music can have on us and acted out different emotions. They played instruments as they made up a story and invited their Buddies from Primary 6/7 as an audience with their performance being very well received by Primary 6/7.
