Dog Trust Visits

On Wednesday 9th November, the Dog Trust will visit Primary 1/2 to start our Book Launch. We will be taking part in a range of activities in class on the lead up to pupils receiving Book Bags. More details to follow soon.
The Dogs Trust will also visit Primary 3/4 with a Money theme. This will tie in well with class lessons as pupils learn about money as part of their maths.

Au revoir, Mrs Arkley!

Thursday will be Mrs Arkley’s final day with us at Torphichen. Although already retired, Mrs Arkley stepped in to support the school through a very difficult staffing situation and has been a tremendous help. We wish her well as she returns to enjoy her retirement. Two of our Primary 1/2 pupils presented Mrs Arkley with a bouquet of flowers at assembly on Tuesday morning as a token of our thanks. Mrs Arkley will finish at Torphichen at lunchtime on Thursday.

Mrs Davies has been contracted as Admin Assistant on a temporary basis. This means the office will be staff throughout the school day.
