The Eco and Global Groups are challenging all families to have a look at home to see if you have any products that are fairtrade. Posting a photo on the blog isn’t possible, as previously thought. Therefore, we would like to ask you to bring to school a photograph of the item with the fairtrade sign on it. We are going to use all of the photographs to make a Village Fairtrade Collage on our Global noticeboard. Many thanks! And apologies for any confusion.

Primary 2 pupils enjoyed learning about different types of fish before they chose which fish they would sketch and paint. They also began making a seascape/boat using a wash. Finished masterpieces to follow.

Primary 1 enjoyed their time on Sumdog today and are becoming more independent at logging on to the website as well as finding their way around the different maths games.

Just a reminder for children in the P4/5 class to bring suitable outdoor clothing to change into in the afternoon as we will begin our gardening work tomorrow.

The school has purchased waterproof trousers which we can provide to pupils however if you do not want your child’s school shoes to get muddy then please send an alternative pair of footwear, eg wellies, outdoor walking boots etc (trainers are not the best options for gardening).
