These photographs show some maths tasks pupils may choose from to explore balance as well as number work. They fit with our Under The Water topic.

Show and Tell
Congratulations
Many congratulations to our string instructor, Mr Norvath, and his wife you were blessed with twin girls on Monday 8th February.  Mum and baby girls are doing well.
As a result, there will be no string tuition for the next 2 Fridays (19/02/16  &  26/02/16) so pupils should not bring their instruments to school.
Change of Lunch – 17 February 2016
Please note there is a change of menu for next Wednesday only (17/02/16).
On the red tray it will be Haggis, neeps and potatoes with an empire biscuit.
Gardening Go Go Go
Work began yesterday with the garden, as you may have seen already!
We were kindly donated 9 tins of brightly coloured paint by Crown Paint in Livingston and this mean the pupils in P4/5 could begin their much anticipated face lift for the garden. Â Typical that the rain and small snowflakes decided to begin the minute we stepped outside however this did not dampen out spirits!
We also started work on ‘jazzing’ up some planters for the front of the school and these will be put in place so keep a look out!
If you would like to get involved please come along on a Thursday afternoon from about 2.15pm (unless it is torrential rain!)
