Primary 4

We have been very busy in Primary 4 this week and Miss Eunson is very glad to be back and has missed everyone in Primary 4.

Another busy week in Primary 4

We have really enjoyed this week and we have lots of fun. On Monday, we loved our trip to Whitelee Wind Farm and finding out more about our topic  and renewable energy.

Primary 4

Although it has been a short week this week we have still been busy in Primary 4 and have had lots of fun.

A busy week in Primary 4

We have had a busy week in Primary 4. This week we met baby Archie at Roots of Empathy and we were all very excited and can’t wait to see him again already!

We have been working really hard on our Energy topic and have thought of ideas for creating our own wind turbine models which we are going start to make next week. If anybody would like to bring in  or donate any used plastic bottles, cardboard, plastic cups or pringle tubs this would be great and would really help us!

Weekly Update From Primary 4

We have had a very busy week in Primary 4.

On Monday, we had a visit from the Scottish SPCA and we really enjoyed our workshop on Food and Farming and learning about how to protect and look after animals in Scotland.

We had our first Roots of Empathy session with Mrs Allardyce on Wednesday and we can’t wait until baby Archie comes in next week! 🙂

P6/5 Welcome Back

We are back and can’t believe our first week is over already! Welcome back every from P6/5!

We have had a busy week settling back into school and especially in our new classroom within the upper school.

This week we have been doing lots of things to get to know one another again. Here are some of our highlights:

· Hannah – we are doing Charlotte’s Web as a short topic for these first few weeks so have been hearing the story and doing some tasks relating to this story.

· Alfie – we started working on our Class Charter and this is going to be Emoji themed!

· Eve – we met our teachers this year who are Mrs Rankin and Mrs Ewing who will take us on Wednesday and for music and French on Thursday afternoons.

· Brogan – we completed the Bucket Filler which you fill up with happiness and positive things.

· Charley – we agreed on our group names and made signs and logos for these. Our group names are: Gangsta Gloop, Wise Wonkas and Bucket Billionaires.

· Callum – we made selfies of ourselves and a fact-file about ourselves.

· Keris / Leah – we had a tour of our classroom so that we know where everything we need is.

PE will be on a Monday and Wed so we need to bring gym kits on the these days.

Primary 4

We have really enjoyed our first week back at school after the summer holidays.  We have settled in really well and are working well as a team.  Here are some of our reflections on the week and what we have enjoyed:
