Today the boys and girls in Primary 2/1 reflected on what they have enjoyed about school this term so far. Miss Eunson is very proud of all the boys and girls in primary one for how well they have settled into school and is also very proud of their primary two class mates who have been very supportive and welcoming.

As this is our last week in Primary Four we decided to share our favourite memories of this year. Miss Eunson would like to thank all the children for a brilliant year and great fun and all their hard work. I am so proud of you all and wish you the very best for your transition into primary five.

We have had a very busy week this week in primary four and cannot believe that in one weeks time it is the summer holidays and our year in primary four is complete! We still have lots to do next week and are looking forward to our Spanish food tasting party.

Miss Eunson would like to say a big well done to all the boys and girls in primary four who tried so hard with their Under the Sea dance, as well as a huge well done to the fabulous primary sevens and Mrs Loosemore for putting on an excellent show ‘Four Friends, Four Wishes’.

Darryl – I enjoyed it when Greenrigg came over on Tuesday.

Lara – I liked doing character cop.

Alex – I liked doing the hunt outside for 3D shapes.

Jack – I enjoyed doing writing when we were doing the leaflets for Mrs Brown about what is good about Stoneyburn so she can see what our school is like.

Carla – I enjoyed litter picking on Tuesday and I enjoyed the daily mile.

Aiden – I enjoyed doing our numbers in Spanish bingo game.

Jaymee-Leigh – I loved doing IZAK 9.   Even though it was difficult we managed to get most of the questions correct.

Michael – I enjoyed playing football with Greenrigg on Tuesday.

Alesha – I liked doing Spanish numbers.  We are going to be focussing on learning some Spanish because our topic is Spain.

Although it has been a short week, we have still done lots in primary four and have been very busy.

This week in primary four we have been learning how to use persuasive language in writing. We have been looking at commas and the different uses of them. In Maths we have been learning about angles and the eight points of a compass. In numeracy, we have been learning about division and fractions.

We enjoyed our second workshop on Tuesday from the drama box.
