As part of the London 2012 Get Set Network, Stoneyburn Primary School has been given a batch of free tickets for the Women’s Football quarter-final tie to be played at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Friday, 03 August at 12 noon. As this event is during the school Summer Break and, after staff consultation, we have decided that we should gauge interest from families and, if there is sufficient interest, we would hold a ballot for the tickets. If there isn’t sufficient interest, we will have to send the entire batch of tickets back again to allow other people the chance to take them up. A letter will be going out tomorrow to all families asking if they would like to be considered for some of the tickets and, consequently, entered into the ballot. Please only submit a request if you wish to go to this Olympic event and do intend attending, as the school will be held responsible for non-attendance and it would not look good for us if we had accepted the tickests and then not bothered to turn up. If a ballot is to be held, it will take place on Monday, 11 June at the end of the Rights Respecting School Day of Action Assembly.
