Yesterday primaries 3 and 3\/2 visited Dynamic Earth and had a wonderful time. \u00a0Firstly we went on a tour and explored different rocks and then we embarked on a journey through time inside a time machine. \u00a0We watched a video of a volcano erupting and the ground that we were standing on began to shake. \u00a0Some of us got a fright! \u00a0We also saw an iceberg and watched video clips of frightening avalanches. \u00a0We went into a room that looked like a cinema and had to wear 3D glasses. \u00a0We watched a film of a helicopter ride taking us through different biomes and wearing the glasses made us feel like we were actually on the ride! \u00a0It looked like we could touch some of the animals.<\/p>\n
We then had a dinosaur detective workshop where we were allowed to look at and touch different fossils and discuss which dinosaur they belonged too. \u00a0Some of us had the chance to become paleontologists where we used brushes to discover a dinosaur fossil buried in the sand. \u00a0The whole experience was enjoyed by all of the pupils and adults.<\/p>\n
