{"id":2730,"date":"2014-03-25T09:18:08","date_gmt":"2014-03-25T09:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/?p=2730"},"modified":"2014-03-25T09:20:33","modified_gmt":"2014-03-25T09:20:33","slug":"p3-and-p32-go-wild","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/2014\/03\/25\/p3-and-p32-go-wild\/","title":{"rendered":"P3 and P3\/2 go wild!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We began our literacy work by discussing the difference between fact and opinion and sorted statements into these categories.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/files\/2014\/03\/100_0131.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2731\" title=\"100_0131\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/files\/2014\/03\/100_0131-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/files\/2014\/03\/100_0132.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2732\" title=\"100_0132\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/StNicholasPrimarySchool\/files\/2014\/03\/100_0132-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our teachers put us into working groups to research a Scottish wildlife animal. \u00a0Our task was to find out about their <strong>habitat, diet, social grouping, babies <\/strong>and <strong>talents.<\/strong> Primaries 5 and 7 were very kind to allow us to use their netbooks to carry out this research.<\/p>\n\n<p>We used a notebook to record all the facts that we were learning and used these notes to create <strong>colourful <\/strong> and <strong>informative <\/strong>posters displayed that we have learned. \u00a0Today we are going to present our findings to our classmates.<\/p>\n<p>Elise D learned that adders have big sharp teeth.<\/p>\n<p>Sophie K learned that foxes like to eat small animals and sometimes even eggs.<\/p>\n<p>Cole enjoyed recording notes using the netbooks.<\/p>\n<p>Sterling enjoyed making a colourful poster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We began our literacy work by discussing the difference between fact and opinion and sorted statements into these categories.
