We have working hard in P3 and P3\/2 this week.<\/p>\n
We have been continuing to learn about time.\u00a0 We have been learning about quarter to and quarter past on a digital and analogue clock.\u00a0 We also learned about 5 minute intervals on the clock.<\/p>\n
We have been learning about verbs.\u00a0 We know they are action and doing words, for example running, jumping and swimming.\u00a0 We played some games.\u00a0 We enjoyed playing verb charades.<\/p>\n
This week we have been learning about friends.\u00a0 We thought about what makes a good friend and then wrote acrostic poem.\u00a0 We know acrostic poem do not need to rhyme.<\/p>\n
In RERC, we learned about the parables stories of the lost coin, sheep and son.\u00a0 We discussed how we would feel if we lost something and how we would feel when we found it.\u00a0 We also thought about the message from the parable stories that God loves us all.<\/p>\n
In outdoor learning we made photo frames using twigs.\u00a0 We worked well with a partner.<\/p>\n
In health and wellbeing we have been learning about the yellow zone of regulation.\u00a0 We know we can be feeling silly, nervous, excited or frustrated. We talked about what our face and body would be doing and how people around us would be feeling.<\/p>\n
We also learned about the phases of the moon.\u00a0 We know the moon takes 28 days to change. We know the names of some of the phases of the moon.\u00a0 For example, new moon, crescent, wanning gibbous and last quarter.<\/p>\n
