We have had another busy week in P3 and P3\/2. Read all about our learning below.<\/p>\n
In Literacy, we have been making predictions.\u00a0 We watched a video of a girl walking along a beach and finding bubbles then we predicted what we thought would happen next.\u00a0 \u00a0We thought about where she might go and who she might meet. We also read\u00a0 a mystery book and we had to guess what the title and front cover would look like.<\/p>\n
In Numeracy, we have been using our knowledge of fact families to find addition and subtraction facts.\u00a0 If we know one fact we can work out the other 3 facts.\u00a0 We have played different games to practise our skills.<\/p>\n
This week is Catholic Education week and we have been learning about St Margaret whose feast day was on Tuesday.\u00a0 We have also been learning about making good choices.\u00a0 We made beautiful prayer cards to thank God.<\/p>\n
In our Pupil Parliament groups we have been discussing what makes a good team, how to improve teaching and learning, how to improve the school and community and how we celebrate success and achievements. We worked hard on this task and added it to a padlet.<\/p>\n
We have also been designing a bedroom for a book character and thinking about what they would need.\u00a0 Then we designed their bed covers and wallpaper.<\/p>\n
On Monday we took home our Read, Write Count packs and we enjoyed looking through them.<\/p>\n
