Keep reading to find out what we have been up to.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In handwriting we have been continuing to learn how to form letters correctly for cursive script.<\/li>\n<li>We have been learning about being kind.\u00a0 This is anti-bullying week so we have been thinking about how to show other people we care and are kind.<\/li>\n<li>We have been continuing to learn more about ten frames.\u00a0 we have been trying to use the mist efficient strategy to show a number.<\/li>\n<li>This is Maths through Story Week.\u00a0 we have been reading the story Pezzettino and learning about halves and quarters.\u00a0 We can find halves and quarters of a shape and number.\u00a0 We also designed our own characters.<\/li>\n<li>We have been learning more about nouns, verbs and adjectives and can identify them and write sentences with them.<\/li>\n<li>We been continuing to learn our spelling words and looking at different sounds.<\/li>\n<li>We have been learning about recounts and wrote a recount about tidying our bedrooms.\u00a0 We shared our tips with our friends! We are experts at tidying up!<\/li>\n<li>In RERC we have been learning more about St Francis of Assisi.\u00a0 We tried to write our own prayers to thank God for all the animals and creation in the world.<\/li>\n<li>Father Jeremy visited us this week.\u00a0 He came to talk to us about God and the Church.<\/li>\n<li>We designed a road safety poster for a competition about park smart.<\/li>\n<li>We also discussed the special talents and gifts we have.\u00a0 We created a display about the talents that St Nicholas children have.<\/li>\n<li>This week we have also been using the laptops to complete quizzes on our Accelerated Reader books.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What a busy week!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has been another busy week for us.
