\n- In ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ we were learning about why dark is necessary.\u00a0 We looked at diurnal and nocturnal animals.\u00a0 We know some animals are awake at the daytime and some at nighttime. Owls are an example of a nocturnal animals.<\/li>\n
- We have been learning about money.\u00a0 We were looking at a restaurant menu and trying to work out what we could afford to buy.\u00a0 We looked at the cost of the items and the coins we would use to pay for the items.<\/li>\n
- We painted a pebble for Remembrance Day and then we placed them at the\u00a0 foot of the statue at the Strathbrock. we know\u00a0 Remembrance Day is on the 11th November.<\/li>\n
- We were continuing to learn about recounts and this week we write a recount of the main events from our reading book.<\/li>\n
- With our rekenreks we have been using the strategy part, part, whole.<\/li>\n
- This week we looked at bonfire and fireworks safety and we created information posters. We know posters have to have information\u00a0 and they need to be bright and colourful.<\/li>\n
- This week we also learned about verbs.\u00a0 We know they are doing words.<\/li>\n
- We have been learning more about our emotions and feelings.\u00a0 We tried to list all of the emotions that we know.<\/li>\n
- We had PE outdoors and we completed the daily mile and some games where we had to listen and follow instructions.<\/li>\n
- We have also been looking at different ways to show a number – we know you can use coins, tens frames, tally marks, words and pictures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
